- AggregatesDecorative aggregates are a little different from what is classed as wet aggregates. The stone is tumbled and then graded for size. Each mix uses a combination for 2-5mm stone and 1-3mm stone.Read more… This is classed as a low-density aggregate. The aggregate is washed so that it’s clean and then kiln dried before being bagged at 25kg weight. It’s important that the stone is completely dry, as moisture will react with the resin and will result in “micro-foaming” (clouding). Never use aggregate that has visible water droplets in the bag.
