Polybound Internal Stone Carpet Pore Filler is a specialist pore filling compound developed specifically for internal stone carpet and fine aggregate resin bound flooring systems. Formulated for use with aggregates between 0.3 mm and 1 mm, it fills surface voids to improve uniformity, appearance, and performance without sealing the surface closed.
The thixotropic acrylic formulation offers excellent workability and controlled flow, allowing the material to be squeegeed smoothly across the surface. Its pseudoplastic behaviour helps the filler sit within the open texture of the stone carpet rather than being forced deep into the matrix, ensuring consistent coverage and finish.
Once cured, the pore filler dries transparent and leaves a lightly textured satin finish that enhances the natural look of the aggregate. It is ideal for internal residential and light commercial environments where a refined, even surface is required.
In areas exposed to higher humidity or regular moisture, the cured pore filler should be protected with a compatible Polybound internal sealer to improve water resistance and long term durability.
