Polybound – Catalyst Chart – UVR Resin Only – Winter Grade

For 15 °C – Aim for 4–5 ml per kit if you actually want a noticeable speed-up. If you just want a nudge, 3–4 ml is enough.

For 10 °C: Aim for 7–8 ml per kit as a good middle ground.

For 5 °C: Aim for 10–12 ml per kit, but only if you’ve done a small test mix first and are happy with pot life.

How to use – measure with a syringe, add to part A, whisk 15 seconds, Add the Part B – Whisk as normal.

Too much use of catalyst increases sensitivity to moisture

An accelerator designed to increase the cure rate of two part polyurethane resins. Recommended for use in temperatures below 15 °C to support even, consistent curing. Added to Part A before Part B, using the supplied syringe for accurate dosing, helping maintain control during mixing and installation.

We recommend the use of an accelerator/catalyst to ensure even, consistent curing.

A catalyst which can be used in conjunction with a two part component polyurethane resin to increase the cure rate.

Part A should be mixed prior to adding the accelerator. Using a syringe, add the accelerator and mix for roughly 15 – 20 second before adding the part B component.

Use the syringe provided to dispense accurately into the part A component of the resin.
Accelerator should be used for temperatures below 15°C.
